Kornhaas Construction Inc. of Ardmore, OK was among 18 construction companies in Oklahoma awarded for safety by the Associated General
Contractors of America. The awards were presented at the 10th annual AGC Safety Awards Program conducted at Frontier City amusement park.
The Associated General Contractors of America honors the members that have demonstrated the best overall safety record for the past 12
months. Kornhaas Construction received an award for maintaining an above-average safety record in the building division. Art Valdez, William Cooksey Terry Crumb and Fred Pruitt, project
superintendents, received individual awards for safety on their respective job sites. Korri Meredith, safety director for Kornhaas Construction, accepted the national award for the company.
Kornhaas Construction is a commercial builder constructing offices, health-care
centers, schools, government facilities, restaurants, warehouses, retail and industrial facilities.
