Receives National Design Build Award

Ardmore received a national Design Build Award for design and construction excellence for the $4.9 million CSR Polypipe facility at Gainesvillle, Texas.
CSR Polypipe is one of the largest manufacturers the of pressure-rated polyethylene piping.
The 250-foot by 450-foot CSR Polypipe building includes 112,000 square feet of
manufacturing area and 16,000 square feet of office space. The manufacturing area is a metal building system by American Buildings Company, with metal
exterior wall panels and a Galvalume-finished metal standing seam roof system. The office area is structural steel with concrete tilt-up walls. It has a reception
area with an atrium and two skylights, administrative offices, a conference room and a break area.
The design-build project by Kornhaas Construction was completed in just over
seven months. Kornhaas Construction is a full-service design-build general contractor primarily serving Oklahoma and northern Texas. Founded in 1973 the
company has been an Authorized American Builder since 1996.
